Why Rolex Authentication Requires Physical Examination?

Yes. The absence of original papers does not prevent authentication. We assess the watch itself — its movement, case, dial, and all components. Original paperwork, where present, is used to cross-reference serial and reference numbers, but a genuine Rolex can be confirmed by physical examination alone.
